Embodied Self Trust Starts Here

Parenthood can make it easy to keep track of everyone else’s needs, while losing sight of your own

  • What do you need?

  • What does yes feel like?

  • What does no feel like?

  • What does too much feel like?

  • What do you want?

  • ‍ ‍‍ ‍Building the confidence to trust yourself and your intuition in an embodied way is an act of empowerment.

Primal Hearth approaches doula work from a holistic perspective: weaving together the practical needs of newborn and family care with professional, non-sexual somatic supported body work.‍ ‍

Sometimes the body needs more than words.

Returning to Self

Primal Hearth is rooted in returning to Self through embodied listening and consent-based support.

Rather than forcing protective patterns to change, we meet them with curiosity and respect. By listening to what the body is communicating, we create space for new possibilities to emerge.

The practical and the profound belong together.

Transitioning into parenthood. Caring for your baby. Recovering from birth. Learning to ask for what you need. Understanding your nervous system. Reconnecting with sensation. Rediscovering pleasure.

These are not separate experiences. They are all part of becoming more deeply acquainted with yourself.

Held with integrity, this work is personal, relational, and generational. It is a practice of tending to what has been inherited while creating new possibilities for yourself and for the generations that follow.

The Language of the Body

Embodiment
The practice of expanding self-awareness to include the felt experience of the body—our sensory, emotional, and physical experiences.

Somatic
From the Ancient Greek soma, meaning “body.” Somatic work brings attention to the lived experience of being in a body, not only what we think or understand intellectually.
